Office of Dr. Vanysek is in LaTourette, Room 418. LaTourette is the building #27 on the NIU East Campus map. On some obsolete documents it may be called by its previousl name, Faraday West. Location of DeKalb, Illinois: Map: Interactive map and driving directions can be obtained from MapQuest. In their lookup tables "De Kalb" is spelt with a space. The US zip code is 60115. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is located both in Faraday Hall West and Faraday Hall. Office of Dr. Vanýsek is in Faraday Hall West, Room 418. Street address: Buildings on campus have no street numbers. If there were, then Faraday Hall West would likely have the address: 190 Normal Road, DeKalb, IL 60115. On the Garmin's MetroGuide North America v7 is at the location of the building shown a body of water labeled "Star Lake." Nobody recalls a lake at that place and its five-prong shape is way too artificial star-like. My suspicion is that somebody managed to implant this feature in the map as a ruse. Without making any implied connections it should be known that the university paper is the Northern Star and has a five-pronged star as a logo.
